Retail Specialist - Fresh Food
Working closely with the Buying Team, Operations and CEO the successful candidate will strive to continually update and improve the Fresh Food product range, encompassing Bakery, Meat, Fresh Produce and Deli.
The Retail Specialist will also be responsible for:
· Supporting, encouraging and mentoring the store managers to improve Fresh Food Standards across the group
· Monitoring competitor trends and acting on areas that are identified as needing development
· Liaising with suppliers to ensure the highest quality and the most cost effective products are sourced
· Ensuring store displays reflect seasonal needs, as well as being proactive and innovative with special stock promotions and special events
· Establishing a culture of continual improvement and striving for excellence in the Fresh Food Departments
Store Manager
As manager of this store you will take full responsibility for the day-today operations. Reporting to the Group Retail Manager your duties will include training, coaching and developing staff, implementing company policies and ensuring that your store runs efficiently.
The successful candidate will also be responsible for all aspects of managing the store including ordering, stock control and general day to day operations.
