State OHS Coordinator

Immediate Start – 18 month contract

Based in South Sydney

$80K plus super

This state government organisation is a leader in a diverse range of health services. They now have a requirement for a safety expert to join their Human Resources team and ensure a safe environment for their workforce across the state.

You will be responsible for ensuring compliance around policies, processes and procedures and coaching staff on their safety obligations. You will conduct training, risk assessments and investigations and drive initiatives that improve safety performance. Pivotal to the role, is your ability to coach and provide first class services and advice to managers and staff at all levels as well as compiling reports to the board of directors around safety trends.

To be successful in this role you will be a solid safety expert with relevant qualifications in OHS. Experience in the health industry or government organisation would be beneficial.
