APPRENTICE DIESEL or HEAVY VEHICLE MECHANIC - WESTERN SUBURBS (VIC)
On behalf of our client, a nationwide transport and logistics company, we are currently seeking an enthusiastic and motivated mid 1st year or 2nd year Apprentice Diesel Mechanic to join their team at Derrimut.
Through this apprenticeship the successful candidate will be commencing a Certificate III in Automotive Mechanical Technology (Heavy Vehicle/ Road Transport). You will gain the skills and knowledge to competently carry out service, repair and diagnostic procedures and duties will include truck and trailer fleet maintenance.
Requirements for this position include:
· Must be reliable and punctual
· Willing to learn
· Have an interest or passion in heavy vehicle
· Must have current drivers license
· Demonstrate initiative and an eagerness to learn
· Any experience working on cars, trucks or heavy vehicles will be an advantage
This is a full time position and apprentice wage rates do apply.
